Ryan Jordan Industrial Design is a multidisciplinary design studio that fuses the practice of design with digital fabrication techniques.
A graduate of the Industrial Design Program at Ontario College of Art and Design University (OCADU) in 2000, Ryan began his career in the design department of Bloorview MacMillan, now Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where he designed assistive seating devices for children with diverse needs. He went on to work in office and healthcare furniture design with Global Furniture Group in Toronto.
After leaving Toronto for Western Canada, Ryan’s portfolio has grown to encompass a diverse range of clients, projects, and disciplines. His work includes founding Form and Forest, a modern prefab company, as well as custom furniture, objects, and interiors for established design firms, restaurant chains, local cafés and breweries, and private residential clients.
Ryan approaches design with the belief that access to thoughtful design should not be limited by geography or the scale of an enterprise. He has put that philosophy into practice by establishing his studio in Golden, British Columbia, among the towering peaks of the Purcell and Rocky Mountains, while building relationships with a diverse range of clients near and far.
His studio has delivered bold and ambitious projects for clients including Stolen Bell Distillery, The Rooftop YYC, Yum Bakery Bistro, Whitetooth Brewing, and others.
